Description
Transparent acrylic tumbler featuring a Peter Pan design. Thanks to the clear material, the print appears to float within the drink—an effect that has made these tumblers popular in Japan for years. Peter Pan is among those Disney classics that rarely appear on everyday tableware; Mickey, Winnie the Pooh, and the princesses usually dominate.
The tumbler has a capacity of 280 milliliters, with a diameter of approximately 80 millimeters and a height of 90 millimeters. The material is methacrylate resin, i.e., acrylic: as crystal-clear as glass, but significantly lighter and virtually shatterproof. The crucial temperature limit is approximately 80 degrees Celsius. Hot drinks should not be poured into it, and it is not suitable for the dishwasher or microwave, as acrylic warps and turns cloudy when exposed to heat. Clean by hand with lukewarm water and mild dish soap.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or hard brushes, as they will dull the surface and diminish the very quality the tumbler was designed for. Fine scratches will still develop over time; this is normal and not a material defect. Beyond the dining table, the tumbler is well-suited for the bathroom or as a pen holder on a desk. Replenishment is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. The print is on the outside and does not come into contact with the drink. This makes the tumbler just as suitable for preschool as it is for home use.
