Here we explain what data is collected when you visit thehoneyhugs.com, what we use it for and how you control it. What technical data is collected?

Every time a page is opened, log data is created for technical reasons: IP address, details about your browser and operating system, the referring page, date and time, and the content requested. We need this so the page can be delivered at all, to detect faults and attacks, and to improve the shop.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small files your browser stores on your device. They contain an identifier that lets us tell repeat visits apart – usually without knowing who you are. Some are deleted when you close the browser, others remain for anything from a few days to two years. Pixels work in a similar way (small, invisible images that report to a server that a page was opened), as does browser storage such as "local storage".

How can you turn them off?

The easiest way is with the switches at the top of this page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; the setting is usually found under "Privacy". There are browser extensions that block tracking as well. Please note: if you block strictly necessary cookies, the cart and checkout will no longer work properly.

Measure anonymously how the shop is used – which pages are opened often and where things get stuck.

Personalisation

Marketing

Enable advertising that matches your interests – including on other websites – and measure whether our ads work. For this we share data with advertising partners.
