Description
With these Tomica training chopsticks, children can practice using chopsticks without any frustration. The pre-formed finger rests and the holding ring automatically guide the thumb, index finger, and ring finger into the correct position, ensuring the grip is perfect from the very first meal. The small Tomica car at the top provides the necessary motivation, turning practice into a game that your child will look forward to, rather than viewing it as a chore.
These chopsticks are designed for right-handed use and are tailored for children's hands aged approximately two to five years. The tips are textured to prevent slipping, ensuring that even smooth foods like noodles, rice, or pieces of vegetable can be reliably gripped without constantly sliding off the plate. With every meal, their confidence grows, making the later transition to standard chopsticks almost effortless. Their lightweight design is also practical: the chopsticks sit easily in the hand, do not tire out little fingers, and fit perfectly into a snack box or kindergarten lunch bag.
The chopsticks have pointed tips and therefore should only be used by children under adult supervision; they are cutlery, not toys. They should be cleaned by hand with mild detergent and must not be placed in the dishwasher or dryer. Like almost everything in our range, this item comes from a small direct import from Japan and can only be restocked when it becomes available there again.
