Description
A cake in the shape of a Tomica car is the moment everyone waits for at any children's birthday party. This officially licensed silicone mold from Takara Tomy takes the hard work out of it for you: instead of fondant, stencils, and a steady hand, all you need is batter, an oven, and a little patience while it cools. It is also perfectly suited for themed parties or a baking session with the children.
The flexible silicone releases the finished cake particularly cleanly, ensuring that wheels, windows, and body lines remain visible and do not get stuck in the edges of the mold. In addition to sponge and pound cakes, you can also prepare jelly desserts, yogurt creations, or ice cream, as the mold is equally suitable for the oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. To wash it, simply turn it inside out; it is also dishwasher safe. Another practical feature is that no greasing is necessary and the soft mold can be stored in a space-saving manner once the birthday is over. If you like, you can bake the cake the day before and decorate it with a little powdered sugar or chocolate glaze just before serving.
A recipe recommendation for a light sponge cake is included. Please never place the mold over an open flame or in a grill, and keep the oven temperature below 230 °C. This item is from a small direct import from Japan – we cannot guarantee that it will be available again.
