Description
The design shows Stitch building a sandcastle on the beach, with the familiar scene from "Lilo & Stitch" featuring Lilo, Nani, and David in the background. Thanks to the lenticular print, the scene moves when you tilt the card – the sandcastle pushes forward, and the background recedes. The effect is exactly what doesn't come across in a product photo but becomes immediately apparent when holding it in your hands. The colors are vibrant.
The back is illustrated with a hula-dancing Stitch and laid out in a classic postcard format, leaving space for an address and a few lines. At approximately 10 x 14.8 cm, the card corresponds to the standard size and therefore fits into common picture frames, protective sleeves, and card stands. When placed on a shelf, the changing effect is shown to its best advantage because the viewing angle changes naturally as you walk by. The card also stands stably without a stand.
An envelope is recommended for mailing: the ribbed surface is prone to visible postmarks and sorting marks, which distract from the effect. Recommended for ages 15 and up. Official Disney product, manufactured in Japan. At TheHoneyhugs, we import the summer Stitch designs in small quantities directly from the Disney Store Japan and ship from Switzerland. Seasonal editions like these are rarely reissued identically, which is why they become sought-after by collectors later on.
