Description
This postcard for Tangled captures one of the film's most famous scenes: the moment with the frying pan. Thanks to the lenticular printing, the image changes as soon as you tilt the card, allowing the scene to be experienced in two states rather than as a frozen still. This effect can only be hinted at in a product photo and truly unfolds when held in the hand—which is precisely the appeal of this printing technique. Anyone familiar with the film will immediately have the scene in mind, including Flynn's reaction.
With dimensions of approx. 10 x 14.8 cm, the format corresponds to a classic postcard. The back is designed with a subtly romantic touch and offers plenty of space for a handwritten message. This makes the card functional in both ways: as a real piece of mail for fellow Disney fans or as a small picture to stand flat on a shelf or hang on the wall in an A6 frame. It is also of interest to collectors that lenticular cards cannot be digitally reproduced—the effect exists only in physical form.
Recommended for ages 15 and up. When mailing, we recommend using an envelope to prevent scratches to the lenticular surface—unlike smooth paper, it is more sensitive to friction. Official Disney merchandise, imported directly from Japan in small quantities by TheHoneyhugs. Lenticular cards are released there regularly for individual films and disappear from the range after a short time. We recommend storing the card flat to prevent the lenticular layer from warping.
