Description
This Power Word postcard features Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians – and makes her shine in gold foil. The embossing is on the lettering and the contours of the design, so the card looks different depending on the light. The effect is difficult to capture on a screen and only fully reveals itself when you actually turn the card in your hand. Cruella is one of the most style-conscious characters in the Villains series, which suits the design well. The Power Word series pairs each character with a short, concise slogan.
At approximately 14.8 x 10 cm, the format corresponds to a classic postcard. The paper is sturdy enough to be sent through the mail without damage or to stand upright in an A6 frame. This allows the card to cover three uses simultaneously: as a message to fellow Disney fans, as a collector's item in a folder, and as a small piece of wall art above a desk or on a mood board. Those who own several cards in the series can hang them side by side to create a small Villains gallery.
The series is of particular interest to Villains collectors because it is released much less frequently than the princess designs. Made in Japan with high-quality printing and materials. We recommend storing the card flat so that the foil does not crease. At TheHoneyhugs, we import them in small quantities directly from Japan; restocking the same edition is not guaranteed. It works just as well as an enclosure for a gift or a card for Halloween as it does as a collector's item on the shelf. The price is significantly lower than what comparable effect prints cost in stores.
