Description
Huey, Dewey, and Louie – originally Huey, Dewey, and Louie – rarely get their own designs in the European Disney range; they usually only appear as an accessory alongside Donald. This card from the Tokyo Disney Resort places the trio in the center, in a colorful illustration in the resort style: warmer colors and softer lines than European merchandise, with more detail in the background. Donald himself remains in the background, while the three are clearly in the foreground.
It can be used in both directions. As a holiday greeting, birthday card, or a little surprise in the mailbox, it works just as well as a collectible on a shelf or as part of a gallery wall with multiple motifs. The reverse side features a classic postcard layout, so there is plenty of space for a handwritten message next to the address field. Framed, the card also looks great on a wall alongside other motifs.
The card quality is deliberately chosen to be sturdier than that of ordinary souvenir cards so that it survives the post without bending at the corners. It is well-suited as an affordable entry into a postcard collection or as an add-on to a gift. Official Tokyo Disney Resort design. At TheHoneyhugs, we import these cards in small quantities directly from Japan – the editions change there seasonally and are rarely reprinted identically.
