Description
Plarail has been the go-to model train brand for children in Japan for decades, and this cutlery set brings the world of trains and Shinkansen directly to the handle. For little train fans, this provides a tangible incentive to start using a spoon themselves. The design is printed in bold colors and remains clearly visible even after many dishwasher cycles. Trains are the first major collecting passion for many children, and this works surprisingly well at the dinner table.
Both pieces are about 14 cm long and designed for children's hands. The ABS plastic handle can withstand temperatures of up to approximately 100 °C, while the spoon and fork are made of stainless steel. The set is dishwasher safe, preferably in the top rack, making it suitable for daycare, kindergarten, school, and lunchboxes on the go. Avoid sterilizing with boiling water, as this can warp the plastic. The lightweight design also makes the set practical for packed lunches.
The set is made in Japan. At thehoneyhugs, it is part of a small direct import, which is why reordering cannot be guaranteed. Product images serve as examples; colors and patterns may vary slightly depending on the batch. Please supervise younger children when eating with the fork, as the tines are sharp. For first attempts, it is recommended to start with the spoon alone. A spare set saves you the search if a piece gets left behind at kindergarten.
