Description
Small but complete: This set contains five mini cards and five matching envelopes. The cards measure approximately 9 by 5.5 centimeters, and the envelopes around 10 by 6.5 centimeters. The format is designed for a short message: a thank you, a greeting, or a line to accompany a gift.
The cards are designed in sepia tones featuring circus motifs from "Panda Kopanda," the early short film that Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata worked on before the studio was founded. The muted colors give the set a nostalgic character that stands out from typical colorful greeting cards. The material is paper; the set is made in Japan.
Notes: The paper is not waterproof and should be stored in a dry place to prevent the cards from warping. Direct sunlight will cause the colors to fade over time. With highly opaque felt-tip pens, the ink may bleed through; test on a corner first. Before mailing, check whether the small format complies with postal regulations; mini envelopes sometimes fall under special formats.
