Description
A large Mickey figure in his Sorcerer’s Apprentice costume from Fantasia, featuring the red robe and the blue star-studded hat. Standing at around 41 centimeters tall, this is no mere shelf filler, but an object that demands its own spot: on a sideboard, armchair, in a display cabinet, or a child’s room. At this size, the craftsmanship truly shines, from the embroidered face to the folds of the robe.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice is one of the few Mickey appearances recognized even by those who aren't Disney fans, as the scene with the brooms and the overflowing water is firmly etched into the cultural memory. Accordingly, the figure works well as a gift for a milestone birthday or as an eye-catcher in a room where there is otherwise little Disney décor. The price sits above the standard plush segment, which is to be expected given the size and quality, making this an item to purchase individually rather than an impulse buy.
Care instructions: Spot clean with a damp cloth, gently brush off dust occasionally; do not machine wash. For safety, check the seams and attached parts such as the hat and robe for firmness before giving the figure to children. Direct sunlight will cause the plush to fade noticeably over the years, so a shaded location is the better choice. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland.
