Description
This postcard features Mabel, King George, and Tom from the Pixar title When I'm a Beaver. The lenticular print allows the design to shift depending on the viewing angle, creating the impression of brief motion when tilted. Cards of this type are usually produced in Japan only in small quantities and for a limited time, which is why they sell out faster in the collector's market than standard postcards. The effect depends on the angle at which you hold the card, which is why it looks different depending on its position on a shelf.
The back follows the classic postcard layout and features a small illustration, with space left over for a personal message. The format is approximately 10 x 14.8 cm, corresponding to A6 size, making it suitable for card sleeves, scrapbooks, and slim picture frames. On the coated surface, gel pens or fineliners write more cleanly than ballpoint pens, and the ink requires a moment to dry. The backing is stiff enough that the card will stand freely without a stand.
Recommended for ages fifteen and up. Placed on a shelf or pinned to a bulletin board, the image change catches the eye when walking past, while in an album, the card remains clean and protected. It is well-suited as an enclosure for a gift, as a souvenir, or as an addition to a Pixar collection. A single card is supplied without an envelope. Officially licensed original merchandise from Japan, imported by TheHoneyhugs.
