Description
Excavators, trucks, and fire engines on the handle: The "Hataraku Kuruma" motif, which translates roughly to "working vehicles," is a classic for children's items in Japan. On this cutlery set consisting of a spoon and fork, it ensures that there is suddenly more willingness to eat at the table than usual. The vehicles are depicted individually and clearly, allowing children to name them and tell them apart.
Both pieces are approximately 14 cm long and tailored to small hands. The handle is made of ABS plastic and withstands temperatures of up to about 100 °C; the spoon and fork themselves are made of stainless steel. The set is dishwasher safe, which makes daily use at preschool, daycare, or in a lunchbox much less complicated. We advise against boiling. The handle remains easy to grip even with damp hands because the surface has a slightly textured finish.
Colors and patterns may vary slightly depending on the production batch – the product images serve as an example. Like all items at thehoneyhugs, this set comes in small quantities directly from Japan, and reordering is not guaranteed. Please supervise small children while they eat, as the fork tines are pointed. For the first attempts with cutlery, we recommend giving them only the spoon at first and introducing the fork later. This allows children to gradually get used to handling them.
