Description
A melamine cup featuring Nick and Judy, designed for daily use at the family table. With a capacity of around 270 milliliters, it holds a child-friendly amount of water, juice, or milk. A motif at the table can sometimes save half the argument about drinking. The omission of a handle is intentional: children grip the cup with both palms, which is significantly more secure for those first independent sips than balancing it by a narrow handle.
Melamine is shatterproof and lightweight, so a fall from the table won't end in broken glass. This makes the cup suitable for the balcony, garden, vacation home, or a picnic, where glass would be impractical anyway. The temperature range is from approximately minus 20 to plus 120 degrees, and it can be cleaned in the dishwasher. If you are looking for a matching motif for the bathroom, it can also be used as a toothbrush holder. The surface remains smooth and colorfast even after many dishwasher cycles, and because melamine barely absorbs odors, there will be no lingering taste of yesterday's tea in the morning.
Please note: Melamine should not be placed in the microwave, as the material can be damaged. Hot drinks should be allowed to cool before being served to children. Colors and patterns may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. The cup is part of a small direct import from Japan, and reordering is not guaranteed. Shipped from Switzerland.
