Description
Toothpick holder featuring a sculpted Winnie the Pooh figure as the lid, approximately 56 millimeters in diameter and 76 millimeters high, measured without the figure. Such table accessories with mascots are a distinct little product category in Japan: they are meant to stay on the dining table and look good, rather than being hidden away in a drawer. In Switzerland, it also serves as a holder for cocktail picks, matches, or small cotton swabs in the bathroom.
The toothpicks are kept protected inside the container instead of sitting openly in a glass, which is more hygienic and prevents them from being scattered across the table. The container is made of polypropylene and withstands up to about 120 degrees, while the ABS figure only up to about 80 degrees. Toothpicks are not included; standard wooden toothpicks will fit. The container is stable enough not to tip over when removing a toothpick.
Care instructions: do not use a dishwasher or dish dryer, as the attached figure cannot withstand the heat. Clean by hand with lukewarm water. A safety note: toothpicks are sharp and not suitable for children. The filled holder should be kept out of the reach of small children, and the figure is part of the lid, not a toy. Replenishment is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. Colors and motif placement may vary slightly depending on the production batch.
