Description
Keep the lid on: This bento box has an air valve in the lid, allowing it to remain closed in the microwave. Steam escapes in a controlled manner instead of lifting the lid. This saves you from having to transfer food and keeps the contents together.
The box holds 320 milliliters and measures approximately 78 by 114 millimeters with a height of 59 millimeters. A seal makes it leak-proof, a tab on the lid makes it easy to open, and the rounded corners are easier to wipe clean than sharp edges. It is dishwasher safe, and identical models can be stacked. The material partially uses biomass raw materials, meaning plant-based plastic rather than pure petroleum. The box makes for a great gift. We import these items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed. It takes up little space in a backpack.
Notes: The lid and housing are made of polypropylene. Information regarding heat and cold resistance is on the packaging in Japanese; do not put the seal in the oven or on the grill. After washing, remove the seal and let it dry separately, as moisture can otherwise accumulate underneath. Do not use if there are cracks in the lid or the seal is damaged, as the box will then leak. Further information is on the packaging in Japanese. We are happy to help with any questions regarding individual details.
