Description
This towel is cut significantly narrower and longer than a standard face towel: about 20 centimeters wide and 110 centimeters long. In Japan, this is a distinct format known as a muffler towel, because it can be worn around the neck like a scarf. The workmanship is neat, and the edges are hemmed.
That is precisely its benefit: draped around the neck and knotted in front, it stays securely in place without constricting, and is always at hand for wiping away sweat. This makes it suitable for gardening, sports, festivals, hiking, or working outdoors on warm days. The material is one hundred percent cotton, which is highly absorbent and dries quickly afterwards. We import these items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed. It takes up hardly any room in a backpack.
A note regarding origin: The towel is from the Japanese product line, but it was manufactured in China. Anyone specifically looking for a piece made in Japan should take this into account before purchasing. The information on the label is in Japanese. We ship from Switzerland via B-Post. It is recommended to wash it separately before first use, as vibrant colors may bleed at first. We are happy to help if you have questions about any of the details. In case of transport damage, please contact us directly.
