Description
Adult length instead of child-sized: At 23 centimeters, these chopsticks correspond to the standard length for adults in Japan. Children's chopsticks there measure 16 to 18 centimeters; those who have only used those until now will notice the difference upon first use, as it is easier to reach bowls placed further away.
The tip is cut square and features a non-slip finish so that rice, noodles, and slippery foods do not slide off. This is the crucial quality factor for chopsticks, as smooth, lacquered tips turn every bite into a test of patience. The surface is lacquered. The motif features Spider-Man. The chopsticks sit well in the hand and take up little space in the drawer. They are well-received as a gift. The workmanship is neat. We import such items in small quantities from Japan; restock is not guaranteed.
Notes: Information regarding the type of lacquer, heat resistance, and dishwasher suitability is in Japanese on the packaging; as a rule, lacquered chopsticks should not be boiled or placed in the microwave, as the lacquer may peel off. When in doubt, wash by hand and allow to dry thoroughly. Do not use if the lacquer is chipped or if there are rough spots. Not a toy; eat while sitting. Further information is in Japanese on the packaging. We are happy to help with any questions regarding individual details. The item will be carefully packed for shipping.
