Description
This silicone baking mold has space for four mini-Madeleines in a Winnie the Pooh design. Because the material is soft and flexible, the finished cakes can be easily pushed out without breaking or sticking to the edges. According to the manufacturer, a Madeleine recipe is included in the packaging, though it is in Japanese. The mold is suitable not only for baking but also for jelly, pudding, or ice cubes in the shape of Pooh.
The mold measures approximately 158 by 150 by 38 millimeters, and each of the four cavities holds about 80 milliliters. According to the manufacturer, the silicone is heat-resistant from minus 20 to 230 degrees, making it safe for use in the oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. The mold can be turned inside out for cleaning and is also dishwasher-safe. A tip from the manufacturer's description: jelly releases more easily if the mold is dipped in warm water for five to ten seconds before removal. We import these items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed.
Important: The mold is hot immediately after baking. It should be placed on a baking sheet because it is too soft to be carried safely when filled. Children should only help under supervision. Do not place directly on a stovetop or under the grill. The mold is manufactured in China. We ship from Switzerland via PostPac Economy. We are happy to help if you have questions about any of the details.
