Description
With this Mickey Mouse-style silicone baking mold, you can create a sponge cake that brings joy the moment you cut into it. The flexible silicone easily peels away from the finished cake, allowing it to be removed from the mold without breaking. After baking, the mold can even be turned inside out, which makes cleaning significantly easier. It is a lovely idea for children's birthday parties or a cozy afternoon of baking with the family.
The mold measures approximately 160 by 190 by 85 millimeters and has a capacity of 890 milliliters. It is made of silicone rubber, which, according to the manufacturer, is heat-resistant from minus 20 to 230 degrees. This means it can be used in the oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. It is dishwasher safe. Included is a sponge cake recipe by Japanese culinary researcher Misako Akita, which is expected to be written in Japanese. The same mold is also available in a Winnie the Pooh design. We import such items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed.
Place the mold on a baking tray or rack when baking, as silicone is flexible. Use oven mitts after baking. Do not use sharp knives in the mold. Wash thoroughly before first use. It was manufactured in China. We ship from Switzerland. We are happy to help with any questions. In case of transport damage, please contact us directly.
