Description
Woven instead of printed: This mini towel is a jacquard, meaning the pattern is created directly during the weaving process rather than being applied as a layer of color on top. The advantage becomes apparent over time: A woven pattern does not fade and does not crack when washed.
The motif has a geometric design and is reminiscent of toy building blocks, into which character elements are incorporated. The hem is also designed and varies from figure to figure within the series. Untwisted yarn is used for the pile, making the towel softer and more absorbent than classic terry cloth. In Japan, such a towel is a common gift for a birth or a celebration. The towel dries quickly. It takes up little space in the cupboard. The workmanship is neat and made for daily use. We import these items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed.
Notes: Exact measurements are provided in Japanese on the packaging. Wash separately before first use, as colored terry goods may bleed initially. Do not use fabric softener, as it reduces absorbency. Do not bleach and do not iron at high temperatures. Untwisted yarn snags more easily; do not leave hanging on hooks and trim any loose threads instead of pulling them. Further information is provided in Japanese on the packaging.
