Description
Cutlery for small hands: This spoon and fork set is designed for children who are just learning to eat by themselves. The handle is intentionally thick so it can be held with a full fist; a slender adult handle constantly slips away at this age.
The design combines Minnie Mouse with unicorns and rainbow colors. The spoon is shaped to be thinner and deeper so that soup or porridge can be scooped up more easily. The fork has a textured surface between the tines so that noodles do not slide off. Both pieces are made of stainless steel and are dishwasher safe. The manufacturer recommends the set for ages one and up. It makes for a well-received gift. The cutlery fits well in the hand and takes up little space in the drawer. We import such items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed.
Important notes: Even with a child-friendly shape, the following applies: toddlers should eat exclusively while seated and be supervised at all times; running around with cutlery in the mouth is dangerous. The fork has sharp tines. Stainless steel conducts heat; the cutlery can become hot with hot food. Do not put in the microwave. Do not use if the tines are bent or have sharp edges.
