Description
Gauze instead of terry cloth: This towel is made of single-sided gauze, meaning it features a loose cotton weave on one side and a pile on the other. This makes it significantly lighter than a classic terry cloth towel and allows it to dry faster without losing any absorbency.
Measuring 18 by 18 centimeters and weighing only about 12 grams, it is the smallest size in this series and fits into any trouser pocket. The pattern is a cheerful plaid with Minnie motifs. The fabric is treated to be antibacterial and odor-resistant; a stain-resistant name tag is sewn in, which is standard in Japanese kindergartens. The material is 100 percent cotton. It is well-received as a small gift. The towel dries quickly. It takes up little space in the cupboard. The workmanship is neat and made for daily use. We import such items from Japan in small quantities; replenishment is not guaranteed.
Notes: Wash separately before first use, as colored textiles may bleed at first. Do not use fabric softener, as it reduces absorbency. Do not bleach, as this will damage the antibacterial finish, and do not iron at high temperatures. Gauze is more finely woven than terry cloth and snags more easily on hooks or zippers; trim loose threads instead of pulling them out. Further information is provided in Japanese on the packaging.
