Description
Woven instead of printed: This mini towel is a jacquard, meaning the pattern is created directly during the weaving process rather than being applied as a layer of color on top. The advantage becomes apparent over time: A woven pattern does not fade and does not crack when washed.
The motif has a geometric structure and is reminiscent of building blocks with character elements incorporated into them. The hem is also designed and varies from figure to figure within the series. The towel measures approximately 25 by 25 centimeters and is made of 100 percent cotton with a soft pile. In Japan, such a towel is a common gift for a birth or a celebration. The towel dries quickly and takes up little space in the cupboard. The workmanship is neat and made for daily use. We import such items in small quantities from Japan; replenishment is not guaranteed.
Notes: Wash separately before first use, as colored terry cloth products may bleed initially. Do not use fabric softener, as it reduces absorbency. Do not bleach and do not iron at high temperatures. Do not let the towel snag on hooks or zippers, and trim protruding threads instead of pulling them out. Store in a dry and airy place. Further information is provided in Japanese on the packaging.
