Description
Stainless steel instead of plastic: The bowl of this spoon is made of stainless steel, while only the handle is plastic. This is the essential difference from all-plastic spoons: the bowl remains thin and smooth, does not absorb odors, and does not stain from tomato sauce or curry.
The spoon measures approximately 140 millimeters in length, 31 millimeters in width, and has a handle diameter of 13 millimeters; it weighs around 25 grams. The ABS resin handle is heat-resistant up to 100 degrees and features a "Toy Story" design. The cutlery is dishwasher-safe. The manufacturer recommends it for ages 3 and up; it is made in Japan. It works well as a complement to the matching fork from the same series. It fits well in the hand and takes up little space in the drawer. We import such items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed.
Important notes: Do not boil and do not place in the microwave, as the plastic handle will deform at temperatures above 100 degrees and metal does not belong in the microwave. Children should eat while seated, be supervised, and not run around with the spoon in their mouth. Discontinue use if there are cracks in the handle or sharp edges on the bowl. Further information in Japanese can be found on the packaging.
