Description
A set that stays quiet in your backpack: The case contains a silicone cushion that holds the chopsticks and spoon in place. This makes the cutlery rattle much less when carried, which makes a big difference when the set travels in a school backpack every day.
Included are a pair of chopsticks and a spoon, both 18 centimeters long, plus the case measuring approximately 188 by 47 by 18 millimeters. The lid is made of AS resin, the body and spoon of ABS resin, and the chopsticks of methacrylic resin, all heat-resistant up to 100 degrees; the silicone cushion withstands 140 degrees. The set is dishwasher safe. The manufacturer recommends it as bento accessory for ages 4 and up; it is manufactured in Japan. It makes a great gift. The case closes securely and is easy to open. We import these items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed.
Important notes: Chopsticks are cutlery, not toys. The ends are pointed; children should eat while sitting down, be supervised, and not walk around with the chopsticks. Do not boil the plastic parts, as they deform above 100 degrees, and do not put them in the microwave. After washing, remove the silicone cushion and let it dry separately, otherwise moisture will accumulate underneath. Discontinue use if cracks appear. Further information is provided in Japanese on the packaging.
