Description
A container just for onigiri: this box is tailored to the triangular shape of Japanese rice balls. Anyone who tosses an onigiri loosely into their bag usually ends up with a crushed lump by lunchtime; here, the shape is preserved because the interior is a perfect fit.
The box measures 108 by 40 by 100 millimeters and fully accommodates a store-bought onigiri. Leftover rice can also be shaped inside it and taken along for later or as a light supper. The material is polypropylene with heat resistance up to 140 degrees; the box is microwave-safe, so the rice can be heated directly inside it. The design is in a retro style. It fits well in the hand. It takes up little space in a backpack. It is well-received as a gift. The craftsmanship is neat. We import such items from Japan in small quantities; restocking is not guaranteed.
Notes: Information regarding the lid seal and dishwasher suitability is in Japanese on the packaging. Before heating in the microwave, remove or loosen the lid so that no pressure builds up. After heating, the contents are hot; do not hand directly to children. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface. Do not use if there are cracks in the lid. Further information is in Japanese on the packaging.
