Description
A little addition to the bento box: this container holds 160 milliliters and measures approximately 92 by 78 by 57 millimeters. In Japan, such containers are provided in addition to the main box for fruit, yogurt, or dessert, so that nothing leaks into the rice. It is also suitable as a storage container for nuts or spices in the cupboard. The workmanship is clean and made for daily use.
The lid is made of AS resin and is heat-resistant up to 100 degrees, the body is made of polypropylene up to 140 degrees, the latch is made of ABS resin, and the seal is made of silicone. For heating in the microwave, the lid must be removed; the body can withstand the temperature. The container is also dishwasher safe. Name stickers are included, which is practical for kindergarten and school. As a small gift or party favor, this item is well received. The container closes securely and is easy to open. It stacks in the refrigerator to save space.
Notes: Only place the body in the microwave, never the lid, as AS resin will warp. Do not put in the oven or on the grill. Allow the silicone seal to dry separately after washing, otherwise moisture will accumulate. Do not use if there are cracks or the lid is warped, because the container will no longer close tightly and may leak. Further information is available in Japanese on the packaging.
