Description
Single drinking cup featuring Disney Princess motifs, 200 milliliters with a diameter of approximately 74 millimeters and a height of 68 millimeters. This size is the standard for kindergarten and school in Japan: small enough for children's hands, large enough for a portion of water or milk. We also carry this same cup as a two-piece set and with other motifs.
The material is polypropylene, heat-resistant up to about 140 degrees. This makes the cup microwave and dishwasher safe, which makes it easier to use in everyday life than the melamine cups in our range, which cannot handle either. It is lightweight, shatterproof, and generally survives a fall from the table without damage. The print is applied directly to the plastic and not on a film, so it survives many dishwashing cycles.
Two details from Japanese kindergarten practice: There is a hole in the bottom for hanging so that the cup can dry upside down after washing, and a name label is included. A note on safety: Drinks heated in the microwave become hot, as does the cup. Let it cool down before drinking and have an adult check the temperature. Replenishment is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. If you label the cup for kindergarten, you should press the label on firmly before the first wash.
