Description
Heart-shaped mini plate featuring Elsa from Frozen, approximately 93 x 83 millimeters in size. In Japan, this plate size is called "mamezara," literally "bean plate," and has a set place on the table: for soy sauce, a pinch of pickled vegetables, or a single cookie. In Switzerland, it works just as well as a tray for rings, earrings, or paperclips.
The material is melamine resin, temperature-resistant from approximately minus 20 to plus 120 degrees. The plate weighs almost nothing, does not splinter, and survives a fall from the table, making it safer for children than a ceramic dish of the same size. Stacked, several plates take up almost no space, which is why they are also well-suited for larger tables in Japan.
Care instructions: Not suitable for the microwave, oven, or dishwasher. Clean by hand with a mild detergent and do not use scouring agents, as they will dull the decoration. With strongly staining sauces such as soy sauce or curry, the surface may discolor slightly over time, but this does not affect its use. Replenishment is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. Those who own several can cover an entire table with small side dishes without it looking cluttered. The print is applied directly to the melamine rather than on a film, so it will last even with daily use.
