Description
Melamine cup from the Funny Face series, featuring Winnie the Pooh and his friends with comically distorted faces. The series is intentionally silly, distinguishing it clearly from more serene Pooh designs like Hug and Heart. We also carry the matching 19-centimeter plate from the same series. Both the inside and outside are printed.
The cup holds 290 milliliters and measures approximately 89 millimeters in both diameter and height. It is shaped as a straight tumbler without a handle, allowing small children to grip it with both hands. Melamine resin is temperature-resistant from about minus 20 to plus 120 degrees, retains its shape, and is shatterproof; a fall from the table usually leaves it unscathed. It is dishwasher safe.
Melamine resin is not suitable for microwaves and should not be used in the oven. Hot drinks should be allowed to cool slightly before pouring, and for small children, it is best for an adult to check the temperature. Abrasive cleaners and hard brushes will leave dull spots on the decor over time; a soft cloth is sufficient for daily cleaning. If you have several cups from the series, they can be stacked inside each other to save space. Replenishment is never guaranteed for these imports. Limited Japanese import, shipped from Switzerland. Colors and motif placement may vary slightly by production batch, as the series is regularly reissued in Japan.
