Description
Melamine cup featuring a Lilo & Stitch motif, 270 milliliters with a diameter of approximately 87 millimeters and a height of 90 millimeters. Unlike our transparent acrylic Stitch cups, this one is printed over the entire surface and is much more robust for everyday use: melamine is dishwasher safe, whereas acrylic is not. If you use the cup daily, this version is the better choice.
The shape is a straight tumbler without a handle. Small children can hold it with both hands, which is safer than a narrow handle, and multiple cups can be stacked inside one another. Melamine resin is dimensionally stable and shatterproof; a fall from the table usually ends without any damage. That is exactly why the material has been the standard for children's tableware in Japan for decades.
Melamine resin is not suitable for microwaves or ovens. Hot drinks should be allowed to cool slightly before filling, and for small children, it is best for an adult to check the temperature. Abrasive cleaners and hard brushes will leave dull spots on the decor over time; a soft cloth is sufficient for daily cleaning. Restocking is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipping from Switzerland. Colors and motif placement may vary slightly depending on the production batch, as the series has been reissued multiple times in Japan. Fine scratches from cutlery are normal over time and do not constitute a defect.
