Description
Round melamine plate with a diameter of 20 centimeters, featuring the NuiPan design with Winnie the Pooh as a knitted plush figure. NuiPan is a Japanese Disney series with characters that look like hand-knitted amigurumi. We carry several plates with different motifs from this series, so please check the product image if you are looking for a specific one. The series is released regularly in Japan with new characters.
At about 1.7 centimeters high, the plate is flat and stackable, and remains lightweight. Melamine is significantly more dimensionally stable than thin plastic and usually survives falls from the table without damage, which is why it is better suited for children's hands, picnics, and the balcony than porcelain. The heat resistance is about 120 degrees. The edge is slightly raised, which helps when eating independently because spoons and forks do not slide over the edge immediately.
Melamine resin is not microwave-safe and does not belong in the oven. Hot food and drinks should be allowed to cool slightly before filling, and for small children, it is best for an adult to check the temperature. Hand washing with mild dish soap is recommended; scouring agents and hard brushes can damage the decor. Restocking is never guaranteed for these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. With strongly staining foods such as tomato sauce or curry, the surface may discolor slightly over time; this does not affect its use.
