Description
Drinking cup with Spider-Man in a comic design, 200 milliliters with a diameter of approximately 74 millimeters and a height of 68 millimeters. In Japan, this size is the standard for kindergarten and school: small enough for children's hands, large enough for a serving of water or milk. We also carry the same cup, identical in construction, featuring Disney Princess motifs.
The material is BPA-free polypropylene, heat-resistant up to about 140 degrees. This makes the cup microwave and dishwasher safe, which makes it significantly more convenient for everyday use than the melamine and acrylic cups in our range. Additionally, the material is treated with an antibacterial agent and tested according to ISO 22196, a material property that does not replace cleaning. The low weight helps children carry the cup to the table themselves and clear it away again.
Two details from Japanese kindergarten practice: there is a hole in the bottom for hanging so the cup can dry upside down, and a name label is included. A safety note: Drinks heated in the microwave become hot, as does the cup. Let it cool down before drinking and have an adult check the temperature. Replenishment is never guaranteed for these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. The print is applied directly to the plastic and therefore survives many wash cycles. Marvel motifs are significantly rarer on Japanese children's tableware than Disney characters.
