Description
Bamboo chopsticks featuring Lady and the Tramp, 21 centimeters long. This length corresponds to the standard size for teenagers and adults in Japan. For smaller children, 16 to 18 centimeters is standard, which is why this pair is better suited for older children or adults who enjoy a Disney motif at the dining table.
Bamboo is lightweight, warmer to the touch than metal, and is the traditional material for chopsticks. The tips are textured rather than smoothly lacquered, which makes it much easier to hold rice, noodles, and slippery items like tofu. The surface has a urethane coating that protects the bamboo from moisture and prevents the print from wearing off. This pair is also available in an identical version with a Cinderella motif. This also makes the chopsticks suitable for beginners using them for the first time.
The coating determines the care required: no dishwasher, boiling water, or microwave, otherwise the coating will peel. Wash quickly by hand, dry, and store lying flat. A safety note: chopsticks are pointed at the tips and are not a toy. Children should only use them at the table under supervision and should not walk around or play with them. Replenishment is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. Bamboo reacts slightly to humidity, so fine color variations between two pairs are normal.
