Description
Stainless steel curry spoon featuring a motif of the Genie from Aladdin. In Japan, the curry spoon is a distinct type of cutlery: flatter and wider than a soup spoon, with a bowl shaped specifically for pushing rice across the plate. Anyone eating Japanese curry, risotto, casseroles, or poke bowls will immediately notice the difference compared to a standard spoon. This series comes from the Disney Store Japan and is released in varying character editions.
The spoon measures approximately 18 x 3.8 x 2.2 centimeters and is made of food-safe stainless steel. The edge is intentionally thin, making mouth contact more pleasant than with thick-walled cutlery. Stainless steel is also tasteless, retains its shape, and is dishwasher-safe, making the spoon significantly more practical for everyday use than lacquered wooden cutlery or coated alternatives. At 18 centimeters long, the spoon fits well in an adult's hand and is also suitable for older children.
The motif is incorporated into the handle rather than printed on, meaning it cannot peel off or fade in the dishwasher. Dry the spoon after cleaning to prevent limescale spots from forming on the surface. Do not place in the microwave; metal should generally not be put in there. Replenishment is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. Stainless steel cutlery should not be left in dishwater overnight, as this can cause staining. The spoon can also be used without any issues for soups and desserts.
