Description
Japanese cutlery set featuring a pair of chopsticks and a matching spoon, both 18 centimeters long and stored in their own case. Such sets are a staple of the local bento culture: cutlery is not provided in the canteen but brought from home. It is an unfussily practical solution for school, the office, or outings. The design is understated enough that the set does not look like children's tableware in the workplace, and at 18 centimeters, the chopsticks are a length that is also comfortable for adults.
The case measures approximately 188 x 47 x 18 millimeters and is lined with a silicone cushion on the inside. That sounds like a small detail, but it makes all the difference in everyday life: the chopsticks and spoon do not rattle in your bag. The lid is made of AS plastic, the case and spoon of ABS, and the chopsticks of methacrylate. All parts are heat-resistant up to approximately 100 degrees and are dishwasher safe.
A safety note: chopsticks taper to a point and are not a toy. Small children should only use them under supervision and should not walk around with them. Do not put in the microwave. Colors and motif placement may vary slightly depending on the production batch. Replenishment is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipping from Switzerland. Allow all parts to dry completely after washing before putting them back into the case, otherwise moisture will remain in the silicone cushion.
