Description
Transparent acrylic cup with Stitch. A note on distinction, as we stock two similar Stitch cups: this one is manufactured in China, withstands temperatures up to about 80 degrees, and must be washed by hand. The Japanese version featuring the hug motif withstands 100 degrees and is dishwasher safe. Both are visually clear, but they behave differently in everyday use.
The cup holds 280 milliliters, with a diameter of about 80 millimeters and a height of 90 millimeters. The material is methacrylate resin, i.e., acrylic: as clear as glass, but significantly lighter and virtually break-resistant. The critical factor is the temperature limit of approximately 80 degrees. Hot drinks should not be poured into it, and neither dishwashers nor microwaves are permitted, as acrylic warps and clouds when exposed to heat. Clean by hand with lukewarm water and mild dish soap.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or hard brushes, as they will dull the surface and strip the cup of the very quality it was made for. Fine scratches will still appear over time; this is normal and not a material defect. In addition to the dining table, the cup is well-suited for the bathroom or as a pencil holder on your desk. Restocking is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. The print is on the outside and does not come into contact with the beverage.
