Description
Melamine cup featuring Susi and Strolch, known in the original as Lady and the Tramp. The 1955 film is one of the Disney classics that has remained consistently popular in Japan, while it is rarely seen on everyday tableware in Europe. The cup holds 270 milliliters and has a diameter of approximately 87 millimeters and a height of 90 millimeters. We also carry matching bamboo chopsticks with the same motif.
The shape is a straight tumbler without a handle. Small children can hold it with both hands, which is safer than a narrow handle, and multiple cups can be stacked inside one another to save space. Melamine resin is temperature-resistant from approximately minus 20 to plus 120 degrees, significantly lighter than porcelain, and shatterproof. If the cup falls off the table, usually nothing happens. It is explicitly dishwasher safe.
Melamine resin is not suitable for the microwave or oven. Hot drinks should be allowed to cool slightly before pouring, and for small children, an adult should check the temperature. Scouring agents and hard brushes will leave dull spots on the decoration over time; a soft cloth is sufficient for daily cleaning. Restocking is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. Fine scratches from cutlery or washing brushes are normal over time and do not constitute a defect. Colors and patterns may vary slightly from the product image.
