Description
Melamine cup featuring Baymax from Big Hero 6, designed in the NuiPan style, where characters resemble knitted plush toys. Baymax's round silhouette is particularly well-suited to this style. The cup holds 270 milliliters and is approximately 87 millimeters in diameter and 90 millimeters high. The film was released in Japan under the title "Baymax," which explains why the character has remained popular there long after its theatrical run.
It is designed without a handle so it can be held with both hands, which is often safer for small children than a narrow handle. Melamine resin is temperature-resistant from approximately minus 20 to plus 120 degrees, dimensionally stable, and shatterproof. A fall from a table usually leaves it undamaged, and it is explicitly dishwasher safe. The wide temperature range also means that the cup can easily be pre-cooled in the refrigerator.
Melamine resin is not microwave-safe and should not be put in the oven. Hot food and drinks should be allowed to cool slightly before filling, and for small children, it is best for an adult to check the temperature. Colors and motif placement may vary slightly depending on the production batch, as the series is regularly re-released in Japan. Restocking is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. Fine scratches from cutlery or dish brushes are normal and not a defect.
