Description
Melamine cup featuring a Peter Pan design, with a capacity of 270 milliliters, a diameter of approximately 87 millimeters, and a height of 90 millimeters. Peter Pan is one of the Disney classics that rarely appears on everyday tableware: Mickey, Winnie the Pooh, and the princesses tend to dominate on cups. For collectors of the older films, this motif is therefore more interesting than the usual suspects. The motif is taken from the 1953 film, which continues to be regularly re-released in Japan to this day.
The cup has no handle, featuring a straight tumbler shape instead. Small children can hold it with both hands, which is safer than a narrow handle, and several cups can be stacked to save space. Melamine resin is temperature-resistant from approximately minus 20 to plus 120 degrees, dimensionally stable, and shatterproof. If the cup falls off the table, usually nothing happens. Dishwasher use is permitted. Its low weight helps children carry the cup to the table themselves.
Melamine resin is not microwave-safe and should not be placed in the oven. Hot drinks should be allowed to cool slightly before pouring, and for small children, it is best for an adult to check the temperature. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will dull the decor. Restocking is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. Fine scratches caused by cutlery or dish brushes are normal over time and do not constitute a defect.
