Description
Storage container with a 260-milliliter capacity in a Winnie the Pooh café design, measuring approximately 143 x 105 x 38 millimeters. The capacity corresponds to about one portion of rice. What sets this container apart from the others in our range is the sieve insert inside: a second base that separates the food from condensation. This makes it the only container in our assortment with this feature, and it is equally suitable for steamed vegetables or side dishes.
This is no gimmick, but rather the standard Japanese trick for precooked rice. If a portion is frozen and later reheated in the microwave, moisture collects at the bottom, which makes the rice mushy. The sieve insert keeps it away from the moisture, so the grains stay fluffy. A tab on the side makes it easier to remove from the refrigerator.
The material is polypropylene, temperature-resistant from approximately minus 20 to plus 140 degrees, making it both freezer and microwave safe. The container is not intended for use in an oven or on a grill. To clean, remove the sieve insert so that no residue collects underneath. Allow heated food to cool before eating. Replenishment is never guaranteed with these imports. Limited Japan import, shipped from Switzerland. The lid does not seal airtight; therefore, the container is not intended for liquids. After cleaning, allow both parts to dry completely before reassembling them.
