Description
A pencil for everyday school life: This model from the Japanese Chara Parade series features a round barrel with a pearlescent coating that shimmers slightly in the light. In Japan, the round barrel is the standard for elementary school children because it feels different from the hexagonal shape common here and does not dig into the hand.
2B hardness is the standard choice in Japan for the first years of school: the mark is softer and darker than HB, which requires less pressure and is more comfortable for inexperienced hands. The pencil measures approximately 7.5 millimeters in diameter and 177 millimeters in length and is made in Japan. Such novelty pencils are not regularly available in Switzerland.
Notes: Pencils have a sharp point; children should write with them while seated and not walk around. When sharpening, be aware that the coating at the tip may chip. The pencil is not waterproof and should be stored in a dry place to prevent the wood and coating from separating. Not a toy; not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
